Lemon Shakers

Ingredients

⅔ cup Simple Syrup, chilled
2 oz. light rum
2 oz. Cointreau or triple sec
2 lemons, halved
- ice
- club soda, to top the drinks

Directions
  1. Divide simple syrup, rum and Cointreau between 2 glass canning jars filled ⅔ full with ice.
  2. Squeeze 1 lemon (2 halves) into each jar; toss a squeezed lemon half in each jar for garnish.
  3. Tightly cover jars with screw-top lids; shake vigorously to combine.
  4. Top beverages with club soda; serve immediately.
