Ingredients
2 oz.
dried cranberries
2 oz.
golden raisins
2 oz.
raisins
1 sprig
fresh thyme
- Kowalski's Fig Balsamic Vinegar, to cover
Directions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine dried fruits and thyme.
- Cover with vinegar; let stand at room temperature for 6 hrs. to overnight.
- Remove thyme before serving.
Tasty Tip:
- To speed up the process, put all the ingredients in a small saucepan with a splash of water. Simmer over medium-low heat until fruit is plump (about 20 min.). Cool to room temperature before serving.
- Try this compote over aged Cheddar, blue cheese, pork or poultry.
