Sugared Sliced Almonds
Directions
- In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add almonds and sugar; cook, stirring frequently, until nuts are slightly browned (about 4 min.).
- Transfer nuts from the pan to a parchment-lined baking sheet; spread out into a single layer to cool completely.
- Use immediately or store, loosely covered, for up to 3 days. Try them in our recipes for Spring Kiwi Cups, Local Lover's Salad and Grown-Up Banana Sundae.
