Zesty Cranberry-Dijon Relish
Ingredients
1 cup
water
1 cup
dark brown sugar
12 oz.
fresh cranberries
1 tbsp.
chopped fresh thyme leaves
2 tsp.
Dijon mustard
1 tsp.
freshly grated orange zest
- pinch
kosher salt
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine water and brown sugar over medium-high heat; bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries; reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until berries burst, stirring occasionally (about 8 min.).
- Remove from heat; stir in thyme, mustard, orange zest and salt.
- Cool completely; store in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3 days.
