Sour Cherry Panna Cotta
Ingredients
1 cup
whole milk
2 ¾ tsp.
unflavored gelatin
½ cup
granulated sugar
3 cups
heavy cream
2 tsp.
vanilla extract
- pinch
salt
12.5 oz.
Stonewall Kitchen Sour Cherry Jam
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine milk and gelatin over medium heat; heat to 135°.
- Add sugar; stir until sugar and gelatin are completely dissolved.
- Remove from heat; stir in cream.
- Strain mixture.
- Stir in vanilla and salt; cool to 50°.
- Scoop 1 tbsp. jam into the bottom of 8 (8 oz.) wine glasses; pour ½ cup cream mixture into each glass.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.
- Top each glass with another 1 tbsp. jam; serve cold or at room temperature.
