Better Than Bruschetta
Ingredients
8 slices
artisan bread (such as Kowalski's Ciabatta or Rosemary Olive Oil Loaf)
- Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil, to taste
2 cloves
Minnesota Grown organic garlic, peeled
½ oz.
fresh Minnesota Grown basil leaves (or to taste)

Minnesota Grown heirloom tomatoes, sliced thickly or thinly to taste
- Kowalski's Balsamic Vinegar, to taste
- freshly ground Kowalski's Sea Salt and Black Peppercorns, to taste
Directions
- Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Mist or lightly brush one side of bread with oil.
- Place bread oiled-side down on the preheated grill, directly over the heat; grill until grill marks form (about 2 min.).
- Flip bread to toast other side (about 1 min. more).
- Rub hot, crispy bread with garlic as desired.
- Top bread with whole basil leaves and sliced tomatoes.
- Drizzle with oil and vinegar; season with salt and pepper.
