Blonde Brownies in a Jar
Ingredients
1 ½ cups
flour
1 tsp.
baking powder
½ tsp.
salt
1 ½ cups
golden brown sugar
1 cup
chopped pecans
1 cup
white chocolate chips
½ cup
milk chocolate toffee bits
Directions
- Layer all ingredients in a 1-liter glass jar or canister, gently tapping jar on counter after each layer to level; cover jar.
- Attach the following baking instructions to the jar:
Line a 13x9" baking pan with enough parchment paper to hang over the edge of the pan. In large mixing bowl, mix ¾ cup melted butter, 2 eggs and 4 tsp. vanilla by hand until thoroughly combined. Mix in contents of jar by hand until thoroughly combined: 1 ½ cups, 1 tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt, 1 ½ cups golden brown sugar, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup white chocolate chips and ½ cup milk chocolate toffee bits. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan; bake in a preheated 350° oven until top is shiny, cracked and light golden-brown (25-30 min.).Cool in pan; lift out of pan with ends of parchment paper. Cut into 24 bars.
