Signature Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients

3 tbsp. Kowalski's Original or Smoky Sweet BBQ Sauce
1 tbsp. Kowalski's Black Raspberry Jam
12 small jalapeño peppers
½ cup Kowalski's Signature Herb Spread or another flavor of your choice (from the Deli Grab & Go Case)
6 thin slices prosciutto, each cut into 4 thin, long strips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In a small microwave-safe dish, combine BBQ sauce and jam. Microwave mixture in 15 sec. intervals until jam melts and mixture is hot, stirring after each interval; set aside.
  3. Slice jalapeños in half from stem to tip; using a sharp paring knife, remove the seeds and light-colored membranes.
  4. Fill peppers with herb spread; wrap with a strip of prosciutto.
  5. Place poppers on a parchment-lined baking sheet; brush with BBQ sauce mixture.
  6. Bake in preheated oven until prosciutto is crispy and filling is bubbly and dark on the edges (about 20 min.).
  7. Remove from oven; let stand for 2-5 min. before serving.
