Cherry and Cheese Charmers
Ingredients
  8 oz.
Kowalski's Dried Cherries
  
                                  
  
- hot water, as needed
  
                                  
  ⅓ cup
finely chopped pecans
  
                                  
  ⅓ cup
Kowalski's Pure Honey, plus more for garnish
  
                                  
  1 tsp.
freshly squeezed lemon juice
  
                                  
  
- zest of 1 lemon
  
                                  
  ¾ tsp.
kosher salt
  
                                  
  ¼ tsp.
finely minced fresh rosemary leaves, plus small sprigs for garnish

frozen mini fillo shells, thawed
  
                                  
  3-4 oz.
Gruyère cheese, thinly sliced
  
                      Directions
          - Place cherries in a shallow baking dish. Add just enough hot water to cover; soak cherries for 20 min.
- Drain cherries; gently squeeze to remove extra liquid.
- Coarsely chop drained cherries.
- In a medium mixing bowl, toss together chopped cherries, pecans, honey, lemon juice, zest, salt and rosemary.
- Divide mixture evenly among fillo shells; drizzle with honey.
- Garnish each pastry with bits of sliced cheese and a fresh rosemary sprig.
Tasty Tip:
- The filling for these pastries makes a delicious mix-in for plain Greek yogurt.
