Pizzaiola Sauce

Pizzaiola Sauce

Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients

2 tbsp. Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tsp. dried oregano
¼ tsp. fennel seeds
¼ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
15 oz. can petite diced tomatoes, drained
- kosher salt and freshly ground Kowalski's Black Peppercorns, to taste

Directions
  1. In a small saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic, oregano, fennel and crushed red pepper; cook until fragrant (1 min.).
  2. Add tomatoes; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low; simmer until thick (8-10 min.).
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
