Ingredients

demi baguette rolls, sliced horizontally and lightly toasted
½ cup
refried beans, warmed gently in the microwave
1 ¼ lbs.
Kowalski's Signature Lightly Smoked Fully Cooked Pulled Pork or Chipotle Chicken, warmed gently in the microwave
4 slices
pepper jack cheese
- toppings, to taste: sliced tomato, thinly sliced white onion, sliced avocado or Kowalski's Fresh Guacamole, and Mexican crema
Directions
- Preheat broiler.
- Place bottom halves of rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread evenly with refried beans; top evenly with pork and cheese.
- Place under preheated broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly (1-2 min.).
- Remove rolls from oven; add toppings as desired.
- Cover with top halves of rolls; serve immediately.
