Mint Julep
Ingredients

fresh mint leaves, plus a mint sprig for garnish
1 ½ tsp.
Kowalski's Simple Syrup
2 oz.
bourbon
- crushed ice
1-2
drops Angostura Aromatic Bitters, to taste
Directions
- In a julep cup or rocks glass, lightly muddle mint leaves with simple syrup.
- Add bourbon; pack glass tightly with crushed ice.
- Stir until cup is frosted on the outside.
- Add bitters; top with more crushed ice to form an ice dome.
- Garnish with mint.
