Honey-Basil Lemonade
Ingredients
1 ¼ cup
Kowalski's Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (from the Produce Department)
1 cup
fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
½ cup
Kowalski's Pure Honey
3 cups
ice-cold water
- ice
- lemon slices, for garnish
Directions
- In a pitcher, combine juice, basil and honey; gently muddle.
- Add cold water; stir well and allow mixture to sit for at least 30 min.
- Discard basil leaves; pour into individual glasses over ice.
- Garnish each glasses with a lemon slice and basil leaf.
Tasty Tips:
- For a health boost, blend lemon juice, honey and basil in a food processor or blender, then simply add water.
- Honey can be substituted with any sugar substitute of your choice.
- Freeze for a refreshing slushy.
- Try adding other fruits and sparkling water!
