Chermoula
Ingredients
1 ½ tsp.
minced fresh garlic
½ tsp.
kosher salt, plus more to taste
⅓ cup
finely chopped fresh cilantro
⅓ cup
finely chopped fresh Italian parsley
1 tsp.
ground cumin
1 tsp.
paprika
- pinch
cayenne pepper
2 tbsp.
Kowalski's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbsp.
Kowalski's Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (from the Produce Department)
Directions
- On a clean cutting board, mash garlic and salt with a fork to form a paste.
- Sprinkle with cilantro and parsley; finely chop until almost a paste.
- Transfer to a small bowl; stir in cumin, paprika and cayenne.
- Stir in oil and lemon juice; add additional salt to taste.
- Store in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 2 days. Allow chermoula to come to room temperature before use.
