Janet's Finest Compotes has been crafting the finest of fruit preserves for over 25 years. Each and every batch is made by hand with the freshest berries, accented with the perfect jalapeño kick and slow cooked to perfection.

This women-owned company was founded by Janet Fuhrken of Kansas City, Missouri. Janet spent many nights standing over a steaming stock pot as she experimented with flavors to find the perfect balance of sweet and subtle spice. Her can-do attitude turned her passion into a thriving compote business. Her daughters, Jessica Amel and Angela Comeck, watched their mother build her business from scratch and were delighted to take the reins when Janet retired in 2017.

Now based in St. Paul, Janet's Finest Compotes offers a growing line of unique fruit preserves for pairing with cheese and charcuterie.
