Seven Sundays Muesli
Seven Sundays Muesli
It all started with a honeymoon to New Zealand. Over the course of six weeks of hiking and camping, Hannah and Brady Barnstable discovered a better way to start each day: with a bowl, a spoon and a cereal called muesli. Upon returning home to uninspiring, empty-calorie-filled breakfast options, the couple set out to flip the cereal aisle on its head. Seven Sundays was born.
Muesli is a healthy cereal similar to granola. Seven Sundays' muesli is made with minimally processed whole grains, nuts and seeds sweetened only with fruit and a touch of organic honey. It has less sugar and more protein than other options in the cereal aisle, along with 25% of your daily fiber needs per serving.
The first bag of Seven Sundays Muesli was sold at a Minneapolis farmers market in the summer of 2011. For the next few years, Hannah bootstrapped the business with an old Raleigh bike and trailer, a friend's restaurant kitchen and a basement office. Since then their family and business have grown quite a bit, but these humble roots continue to shape their business today.
