Maytown Foods

Maytown Foods is a certified minority- and woman-owned business founded by Shan Columbus in the Twin Cities.

Shan was born and raised with savory foods in the southwest of China, where spicy foods are a beloved part of the cuisine. Years of international business experience allowed her to try delicious foods worldwide.

Since moving to the United States with her son, Andy, and more than 20 cookbooks, Shan never stopped pursuing the opportunity to start a food business, where she hoped to share good tastes with the world. She launched Maytown Foods in June 2020, releasing her Jump Chili as its introductory product.
