Quebracho Empanadas

Quebracho Empanadas is a woman- and immigrant-owned small business located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Quebracho was born out of homesickness. Founder Belén Rodríguez had recently moved to the United States from Argentinian and missed her family and friends. She learned how to cook at a young age with her two grandmothers and also enjoyed grilling with her dad on Sundays when the family came over for lunch.

Grandma Iaia taught Belén how to make empanadas, so they always had a special place in her heart.

"Memories abound of the two of us making piles of empanadas and getting them ready for the family," she says, "so Quebracho is my way of telling my family that I love them and that I always carry them with me."

Belén brings us her family's authentic Argentinian recipes, keeping them virtually unchanged. She proudly offers you a taste of her Abuela Iaia's table, ready in just under 20 minutes!
