Holiday Shopping Tips & Considerations

  • Shop earlier in the week during holiday weeks.

  • Consolidate shopping trips and shop only as frequently as necessary.

  • When necessary, we will have all registers open to serve customers as quickly as possible.

  • Use our contactless shopping services:
    • Kowalski's On the Go Delivery and Curbside Pickup (fees waived Nov. 21-25 and Dec. 19-24)
    • Shipt can also deliver groceries right to your home.

  • Shop during less busy hours:
    • Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.
    • Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 6-10 p.m.

  • As much as possible, reserve shopping hours between 6-8 a.m. for those at higher risk for COVID-19.

  • If at any point store management feels the store is too crowded, we will ask customers to wait outside (in their cars, depending on the weather) until customer levels are more reasonable. We do not anticipate the wait to be very long.

  • Please limit your party to just one member per family or household whenever possible.

  • As usual, we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

  • THIS YEAR, we will also be closed on Saturday, Dec. 26, so our employees may enjoy a longer holiday weekend with their families and get some extra rest. Please consider this when making your shopping plans. All stores will reopen on Dec. 27 at 6 a.m.

We are doing our best to mitigate COVID-19 virus transmission. We continually govern with employees about important health, hygiene, cleaning and sanitation practices and are proud of their efforts! We are here to help you through this situation. If we can do anything more to assist you or answer any questions you may have, please speak with a member of your store's management right away.
