When making this cake at home, we recommend icing it with our Signature Buttercream Frosting. It's Mary Anne Kowalski's original recipe and is made with just five simple ingredients: butter, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. Not only is it great for all your homemade cakes and cupcakes, but you can also use it to frost cookies or bars – or even make cake pops! It contains no preservatives, artificial flavors or additives.
