Heat & Eat Fan Fare

A mix of hot and cold foods is always a good idea, but that doesn't mean you have to cook. Our selection of heat-and-eat party foods will provide some much-needed heat come halftime.

  1. Look for Stuffed Mushrooms in the Meat Department.

  2. Ready-to-Sauce Meatballs are a super-easy hot option from the Grab & Go Case in the Deli Department. We especially love them tossed with one of Kowalski's Signature Kalbi Sauces or Stonewall Kitchen's Spicy Chili Bacon Jam (as pictured).

  3. Top Kowalski's Queso Blanco Dip from the Deli Grab & Go Case with Kowalski's Fresh Pico de Gallo from the Produce Department for an easy, scoopable party snack.

  4. Kowalski's Signature Tortilla Chips are made fresh locally and available in yellow or white corn varieties.

  5. Baked Smoked Salmon Cakes – What could be better than stand-alone or dippable salmon? Click here for the recipe.

  6. Olive Sliders – Double olive toppings on tasty pretzel buns. Click here for the recipe.

Kansas City Style BBQ Pulled Beef, Pork & Chicken

Kowalski's Shoreview Market is home to our in-store smokehouse and state-of-the-art meat processing facility. This is where we smoke our Signature Pulled Meats with hickory logs for up to 14 hours before we deliver them to every one of our Twin Cities markets. We use traditional Kansas City style methods and flavors to craft these smokehouse delectables. We never use artificial preservatives like sodium nitrates or nitrites, and all meats are raised with no antibiotics or added growth stimulants – ever!

Winning Recipes

Fans will flock to unique recipes with flavors that tackle their taste buds. But special can still mean simple, as our game day recipes prove. Basic sliders get a salty, umami twist with the addition of olive tapenade, while regular ol' crab cakes take a walk on the wild side with smoked salmon and a bit of zesty horseradish sauce. Our nachos recipe swaps in our Signature Kansas City Style BBQ Pulled Pork for the usual ground beef. Fresh green onions and cilantro keep things cool while a drizzle of Kowalski's Peppercorn Ranch Salad Dressing pulls it all together.
